If you are a non-resident and want to register for a GST/HST account, Please Contact Us
You have to register for a GST/HST account if both situations apply:
- You make taxable sales, leases, or other supplies in Canada (unless your only taxable supplies are of real property sold other than in the course of a business).
- You are not a small supplier.
Importing or exporting goods
If you import goods into Canada or export goods to other countries, you need to register for an import-export program account.
We will use your import-export program account number to process customs documents.
To avoid delays in releasing your goods at the border, open your program account before you import or export goods.
